Migrating from Typecho to xLog#
Actually, I had the idea of transferring my blog to platforms like hexo or hugo a long time ago, but I lacked programming knowledge and the difficulty of deploying various themes varied, so I gave up.
However, I have always collected many people's blogs and referred to their construction methods to find alternatives for myself. So when I saw that DIYgod had switched to xLog, I hesitated at first because I personally have always had a pessimistic and opposing attitude towards the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries.
The reason that ultimately made me decide to use this blog is that I hope to have a blog completely independent of the server, so it will be very convenient for me to migrate. At the same time, I hope the blog can be as simple as possible. My blog exists primarily for myself, and secondly for sharing content with others. This blog currently meets the majority of my needs and, in addition to being able to bind a wallet, it also supports registration using an email.
Another reason that prompted me to use xLog for writing is that recently I have also become interested in virtual currencies. It's not about trading or anything like that, I just want to have the flexibility to distribute my assets beyond platforms like banks. Additionally, with recent losses in the stock market and funds, I have to consider a new platform to resist inflation. Virtual currency may be a possibility.
In conclusion, goodbye Typecho. Hello, xLog.
