[Daily] Synchronize Hexo and xLog

Leaving xLog#

It feels like it's been several months since the last update, mainly because there were many issues and difficulties in using xLog (such as the text editor freezing when there are too many input characters, and the high difficulty in customizing CSS). So I started looking for alternatives. Actually, before xLog, I tried using Hexo + Github Pages as my blog, but in the end, it didn't work out because I couldn't use the desired theme.

This time, I successfully set up my Hexo site using VSCode + Git + one-click deployment + Cloudflare Pages. However, I lost all my blog files due to a system reinstallation recently, and I had to convert them from HTML to Markdown to save all the articles again. This incident made me reconsider the feasibility of static blogs like Hexo, after all, the files are stored on the local disk, and a careless mistake like sudo rm -=rf /* could destroy all the content I have written for a long time.

Returning to xLog#

A few days ago, when I was browsing Telegram, I saw that DIYGod had many year-end summaries on the xLog homepage, which made me realize that I had used this blogging system before. So I installed Metamask again, recovered my wallet, logged in, and found that the articles I had written before were still there, quietly lying there.

Then I thought, the content of Hexo's body is also written in Markdown language, so why not update both platforms at the same time? Even if Hexo crashes, I still have the Markdown files from xLog, which can still serve as a backup.

Anyway, I'm back ;P
